North Carolina Rural Fund for Development (NCRFD) is a non-profit organization established for the purpose of promoting economic growth and development within the low-income communities of North Carolina. NCRFD is dedicated to providing employment, youth and housing services to residents of the Coastal Plain Region of North Carolina. NCRFD collaborates with local government, faith-based organizations, nonprofits and other public/private organizations to identify resources that are available to meet the needs of those eligible individuals residing in the service area.

NCRFD provides homebuyer education workshops, one-on-one homebuyer counseling and credit repair counseling.

NCRFD is developing future projects to include an IDA Asset Building Program, Digital Divide, the Job Opportunities & Basic Skills Training Project and Business Enterprise Development.

Vision Statement

It is the vision of NCRFD that all residents of the Coastal Plain Region of North Carolina will have equal access to services, programs and opportunities that empowers them socially and economically.

NCRFD mission is to improve the economic status, quality of life and living conditions for residents of the Coastal Plain Region of North Carolina.
